Happy May Day.
Whatever happened to May Day? I remember when I was a little girl I use to make May baskets and take them around the neighborhood. I'd set them on the door step, ring the doorbell and run away. The baskets were usually made out of baking cups, construction paper and pipe cleaners. They'd have a couple pieces of candy & a flower in them. At school we'd dance around the May pole. What happened to that??

I'm tired. I'm always tired. I can't ever get it all done. This weeks been kinda crazy with doctor's appointments. Hubby and I both had to go see our doctors to get our meds reordered for the next year. Hubby's been having some gastric issues so I scheduled him a physical. Well, we've been in for that appointment, than the GI specialist and tomorrow's test #1. He's having a barium swallow done. Looking to see if he has an esophageal stricture. Then in June he has to be scoped, both ends. Needless to say he's thrilled to death about all of this. (he's not a happy camper right now) This is a man that might have seen a doctor 5 or 6 times in his whole life. 3 of those times was 3 or so years ago when he had shoulder surgery.

I keep waiting for my oldest daughter to come home and tell me she's getting married. She's seeing a good guy and they seem to match up well together. He's part of the family already so she would just make it easier for me to call him son.

I need to do Spring cleaning. I never really get it done. I had hubby clean under the washer, dryer and deep freeze last weekend. I don't think it'd been done in 3 or more years. I have cats and dogs that live in the house. Nasty, nasty. Dust bunnies with teeth living under there. The real reason I had him do it is, his boss is coming over sometime soon and they're going to do some work on the laundry room floor. I didn't want his boss to see how awful I keep house. Having grand kids in the house a often as I do I just try to keep the place picked up. I do have to do serious business dusting and soon.

It's late and I'm having trouble typing. Gonna go to bed. Thanks for stopping by.
